Aspie Writers' Tips

1.  Buy a small dry-erase whiteboard and a dry-erase marker for writing an outline.
2.  Buy "stickie notes" in case you can't find a dry-erase whiteboard.
3.  Download the CELTX and OpenOffice.org software, they are FREE!  :D
4.  If you already have MS Office, etc, use the Word Processor.
5.  Buy a used copy or borrow from library, The Writer's Idea Book, http://bit.ly/cnKpko
6.  Use en.wikipedia.org, google.com, and bing.com for research
7.  Download/Buy scripts online, http://www.simplyscripts.com is a good example.
8.  Before you begin to write, google where there are free online Writers' groups.
9.  Finally, write what you know and you can't go wrong!  :D

I hope these tips WILL help you, good luck, after your script is finished, we can explore how to pitch it online or off to a Literary Agent!  :D

Concept

STARDATE 2260.5

Kirk and crew return from a ill-fated rescue mission when a distress call in morse code has the Enterprise encountering an early 21st Century “sleeper” ship.  Known as the “Botany Bay,” Kirk, McCoy, Scotty, and a Security Guard beam over to find over a hundred humans in “sleeping” chambers.  The leader of the ship is awakened first, he calls himself Khan.  Another human is awakened when the ship starts breaking apart.  Scotty manages to beam everyone back except for the Security Guard who got sucked into space.  We get to know Khan and his sidekick.  Spock informs Kirk that Khan is in fact the dictator Khan Noonian Singh, who ruled the Middle East in World War III.  Kirk, Spock, and Scotty battle for control of the Enterprise after Khan and his sidekick try to take over.  Khan is marooned near the Neutral Zone on a planet called Ceti Alpha V.

STARDATE 2261.8

Five Klingon cruisers attack the Utopia shipyards near Mars, the Enterprise is summoned back to service after shore leave.  The enemy leader turns out to be Khan who wants his wrath.  Spock tells Kirk to travel to a Nebula, he discovered months ago, that will render sensors useless.  The battle has the Enterprise badly damaged and after the other cruisers destroyed.  Kirk offers Khan and his Klingon wife to beam aboard for medical help.  Instead, Khan sends a torpedo toward the Enterprise Bridge, half the crew are sucked into space with the rest in environmental suits.  Khan is destroyed;  The Enterprise is partially repaired, it travels to the main spacedock in Earth orbit.
